first impressions

it's already almost two weeks since my arrival in kirchhain germany. unfortunatelly i didnt have a good access to the internet on my first weeks and thats why i am writing so late.

as i wished, i had the chance to see frankfurt from the plane again, i even stood next to a man who was filming it and who was reminding me of konstanz, the place he was heading to.

my flatmate, Milena, is actually brunette and only speaks polish and some words in german ( i will be very good at signs language soon) . i will post photos with her when we will have the chance to take some.

we have a very nice flat together, with a nice kitchen and living room..and after long complainings.. also a working tv

my room is small but nice

and here an important advice for the coming evs : be very friendly with everyone but especially the kitchen ladies. first person i met and had a very big impact of my life here was sabine, one of the ladies from the kitchen who also gave me everything else i needed for my room and explain how things are in here.

my and milena's mentor, nedye looks a bit like in the photo i posted before on my blog, only that now she has short hair. she visited us the first week every evening and tried to calm us down saying that everything will be great till the end. i don't think i ever met someone with such energy and sincere great laugh.

and at the end of the first week someone came to visit me :D

here are some random photos we took together in kirchhain

and of course we went out for the martinsfest in kirchhain, the small town looked so crowded and joyful that saturday

second week i started real working in the group vega. the six children here are adorable and they like to have fun. the other people that work here are nice, still not very curious of what planet do i come from. i will detail work and maybe also post photos as soon as possible.

friday, since i had a day off at work, i decided to go with him to marburg. despite the rainy day, we were quite impressed and had a lot of fun. here are random photos:

and some from the castle:

we stood till late in marburg, walking back to the train station in the night lights of the old houses , he said we are like in a fairy tale

Good luck in Germany! The European Voluntary Program is interesting. What will you be doing during your time there?

Eu Ginn,
Just dropping by.
